Through interviews with forensic experts who have examined the recently excavated skeletal remains that are believed to belong to the Imperial Family, and archivists with access to the “notes” from Yakov Yurovsky who led the execution squad, Mystery of the Last Tsar will trace the tragic disappearance of the Romanov Family on July 16, 1918 and the most brutal regicide in history.
